Long-story-short, you can connect with **ANY Version from 1.12.2 to the LATEST Official Release**.

Hey 1.8 players, and competitive PvP enjoyers!\
We understand you're already pretty disappointed since the best version for PvP isn't supported, but please put your trust in us, we have completely disabled the hit cooldown and added back sword blocking, and it is pretty smooth! (unlike our competitors...)

* Badlion Launcher/Anti-cheat

These are only a few mentions of Launchers that are officially supported and trusted by G C Network servers. ─ You can use any launcher that you prefer.

We do not allow the use of Launchers that modify the game installation to bypass server-sided limitations and/or arguments!

### Supported Mods:

Only mods that are specifically mentioned in [<mark style="color:green;">**MODDED SERVERS**</mark>](/modded/play.md) are allowed to be used on G C Network servers, unless if you are trying to use a client-side mod that doesn't give you an unfair advantage over other players.

#### Here are a few mods that are generally okay to use:

* AppleSkin
* ViveCraft (VR Gameplay Support)
* JEI (Just Enough Items)
* Journey Map
* What are we Looking at? (WAWLA)
* Fresh Animations (resource pack)
* Dynamic Audio
